Redispersible Polymer Powder(RDP) Description:
Redispersible polymer powder(RDP) produced by spray-drying special water-based emulsion, mostly based on VAE,and then obtained a free flowing organic polymer powder. It can re-disperse in water, and form a film after water evaporation by coalescence of individual polymer particles. The film acts as an organic binder, to glue together different substrates, reinforcemortar structure and provide excellent adhesion at cement or gypsum based dry mixed mortar substrate interface.

RDP Advantages:
Due to the relatively high ethylene content, this resin is soft and elastic.
Its glass transition temperature (Tg) is lower than the freezing point of water.
Compounds exhibit better adhesion, flexural strength, deformability, abrasion resistance, cohesion, and are easier to process. Leveling, thixotropy and water retention are largely unaffected. This product is ideal for use in combination with other mortar additives designed to enhance specific properties.
